Cindy has two passions: cooking (with whole foods and natural ingredients only) and aromatherapy.

Prior to establishing her wellness business Cindy spent 25 years in the food and beverage industry. She was chef of her own natural and whole food catering business and for many years impressed her clients with nutritional delicacies made without the use of frozen or processed ingredients.

Cindy is also no stranger to a holistic lifestyle. She was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy in 1994 when she woke up one morning to find half of her face paralyzed. Instead of following the traditional medical path, Cindy found her cure by using magnets, chiropractic adjustments and energy healing with crystals. She now assists other people in making non-toxic choices in lieu of the traditional toxic remedies.

In 2007 she was referred to Miguel Cisneros, the founder of A-CAM Education and with his expertise, Cindy has learned the importance of the medicinal properties of essential oils and herbs. She is A-CAM certified.

Cindy has been involved with the Wellness Advisory Council of Miami-Dade County, FL for the past 4 years. Her hope is to assist in combating the current children's health crisis with a focus on healthy eating, nutritional education programs and a non-toxic lifestyle.

Her new business "The Wellness Room & Apothecary" offers stress management, meditation therapy, wellness counseling, therapeutic aromatherapy and education using only A-CAM essential oils (aromatherapy for complimentary alternative medicine).

Cindy is continuing her education by working toward a Master's degree in holistic nutrition.
